A new way to take part
Don't just comment.
Contribute.
Social platforms make reacting effortless. Contrybution adds a small friction for those who truly want to add something to the conversation.
The idea
A comment is something you said. A contribution is something you added to the conversation.
Under every piece of content published online, thousands of reactions pile up: almost nobody reads them — starting with the person who created the content. Contrybution creates a separate space, alongside the social platforms you already use, where taking part requires a minimum of formulation — and where what you publish is meant to be read.
How it works
-
Find the conversation
Open a Contrybution link, or enter the Conversation Code you saw in a post or a video.
-
Add something
Choose what kind of contribution you want to bring — an argument, a question, a correction, a source, an experience — and take your time to formulate it.
-
Publish a Contribution
Before publishing, Contrybution helps you check that you have truly added something. Then your contribution receives a credential.
Friction is a feature
Social platforms have removed nearly all friction from publishing: two taps and your comment is online. That makes it easy to speak, but not necessarily to contribute.
Contrybution removes useless mechanical friction and deliberately introduces a small cognitive friction:
think → formulate → verify → contribute
No walls, no waiting: just the time it takes to say something worth reading.
Contrybution doesn't decide what you should think
You can disagree completely. You can express yourself forcefully. You can argue for a minority position. The process evaluates the contribution, never the opinion — and certainly not politeness. There is only one question:
Have you added something to the conversation?
"I completely disagree."
Legitimate, but it adds nothing: the reader doesn't know why.
"I disagree, because the data used only covers 2023 and ignores the effect of the regulatory change."
Full disagreement — backed by a reason that moves the discussion forward.
"This conclusion is bullshit: the sample includes only 42 subjects and is not representative of the population."
Harsh tone, real substance: the objection is precise and checkable.
For creators
You published something and received 4,000 comments. How many are actually worth reading?
"Comments are open. But if you want me to genuinely consider what you have to say, contribute here."
When you publish, you create a Contrybution conversation tied to your content and share its Conversation Code:
CONTRYBUTION · CX5K3RS
- Direct link — in your bio, in captions, in the video description.
- Conversation Code — seven characters, easy to read aloud or show on screen.
- Pinned comment — the entry point always visible under your content.
Nothing for your audience to install: open the link, write, contribute. You read formulated contributions instead of scrolling through thousands of reactions.
The Contrybution Credential
Every contribution that completes the process receives a Contrybution Credential: a digitally signed attestation that anyone can verify.
- Certifies
- this exact text went through the Contrybution process
- Does not certify
- that it is true, that Contrybution agrees, that the author is right
- Verification
- public and independent, with the published public key
You can repost your contribution on social platforms with its identifier: anyone can check that that exact text was formulated, verified and published as a contribution.
